Hello Reflection...
1. I think the good part of my project is it's originalty because no one else has one like it.
2. I could have made the face betterr because it's kind of rough.
3. It's about the size of a small teapot...that's what it is. it is shaped like a cup with a few add ons. I did it that size because I couldn't get it bigger without breaking it.
4. I really like tea, so I figured a teapot would be nice to have.
5. My rhythm is it's got body parts scored and slipped onto it. The repitition is body parts...They're symmetrical. I went with rhythm because elephants aren't really measured out.
6. I learned that taking your time makes things worth it. Putting in the extra effort really does pull things together.
7. I followed my preliminary sketch..First, I wedged my clay, made it into a ball, and then made a decent size pinch pot. Then I made a ball type thing for the head, a tube for the trunk and connected them carefully. I let those dry a little so it wasn't as fragile. I then cut a hole in the pinch pot and attatched the head. After I did that, I attatched the tail. Once all of this is done, I made the lid and then the eyes. Finally, I made a stand for it. Then it was done.
8. I really enjoyed this project once I decided on what I was doing. I put my mind to it, figured it out, and I'm proud of my end product.
